National Antique Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet Ride

Saturday June 19, 2010 Recap

We set out under clear warm skies, preceded down Farmers Lane to Hwy 12, through Sonoma, and wound our way to our first stop at the Chevron off of Trancas St in Napa. After a short break, we headed out Monticello Rd. up and down through the winding hills around to the Lake Berryessa area on 128 and then on to Winters, where we refueled our bikes at the Grant Ave Chevron, and took a break before our last hop into Dixon. We wandered around the various vendors, who had everything a classic bike owner could ever think of, including running projects like a mid-70's Triumph chopper that the owner just wanted out of the garage. By now, we were getting a little peckish, so we hit the food vendors, who were serving up tasty dogs, polish and burgers, (both meat and veggie), ice cold drinks, and ice cream from a snazzy-looking ice cream truck. With our stomachs full, we hit the road to continue this fantastic day.
